This expedition follows a clear route from Santa Teresa to Yucatán. Final dates, availability, partner details and package terms will be confirmed before reservations open.
Week 01: Surf and beach life in Santa Teresa.
Spend your first week at Perfect Sunset School with surf coaching, ocean time and the pace of Santa Teresa.
Week 02: Freediving immersion in Yucatán.
Continue to Yucatán for a dedicated freediving experience in cenotes with the local partner team.
Start in Santa Teresa.
Perfect Sunset School is the Costa Rica base for the opening week: surf, accommodation and a relaxed ocean routine close to the beach. The school is situated just two blocks from one of Santa Teresa’s best surf spots.
The final itinerary will confirm the exact schedule, room choice, meals and any optional experiences.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
What is included in each week.
Week 1: Santa Teresa, Costa Rica.
- 7 nights at Perfect Sunset School, with private or shared room options, air conditioning, ceiling fans and high-speed Wi-Fi.
- Daily surf coaching: four progressive two-hour lessons led by experienced instructors.
- Unlimited surfboard rental for practice outside lesson hours.
- Breakfast Monday to Saturday, dinner Monday to Friday, kitchen access for lunch, morning coffee and purified drinking water.
- Housekeeping, linen changes three times per week and full room cleaning.
- Optional Montezuma Waterfalls Tour: guided rainforest trek and natural waterfall pool jump experience (+USD 50).
Week 2: Yucatán, Mexico.
- 6-day freediving immersion across Yucatán sacred cenotes, for beginners through advanced divers.
- Depth technique, equalization clinics, breathwork, and static and dynamic pool practice.
- Active recovery day with physical integration, bodywork and Mayan culture.
- Opportunity to earn Molchanovs Wave 1 or Wave 2 certification.
- 7 nights at Casa Apnea with high-comfort rooms, pool and gym facilities.
- Daily breakfast and dinner, professional underwater photo shoot, HD video analysis, private cenote transfers, entry passes, lead weights and safety buoys.
