As commited students of yoga, over the years of practicing we began to notice, with curiosity and awe, subtle yet profound awakenings in our daily lives. These shifts occurred on so many different levels, appearing spontaneously and increasing our connection to life and spirit, that we began to feel happier.

One of the best things about is that there is no single type to practice, but depending on whether it’s more active, more focused on meditation, or more dedicated to muscular work. So, you can find different styles to choose the best for you. All types will help you work to a greater or lesser strength of your muscles (with the help of your body weight), your flexibility, and you’re breathing.

Our guests will have the opportunity to practice in our Yoga Studio in different types, such as (Vinyasa, Sridaiva, Restorative, and Detox). All levels are offered and included in the package: 2 hours class x 5 times.

RESTORATIVE

RESTORATIVE

Is particularly effective for those who feel weak, fatigued, or beat up from surfing! This is a gentle practice and is accessible for everyone. A great way to relax after an action packed day in Costa Rica!

We use blankets, cushions, chairs, and belts. So that all body parts find a point of balance. Although sometimes, we use a little more active asanas or some smooth movement sequences, such as warm-ups, are also performed.

VINYASA

There are four basic definitions of vinyasa:

1) the linking of body movement with breath;

2) a specific sequence of breath-synchronized movements used to transition between sustained postures;

3) setting an intention for one’s personal practice and taking the necessary steps toward reaching that goal; and

4) a type of class.

Our guests flow and evolve to the rhythm of the breath, becoming a dance since each inhalation and exhalation creates a specific movement. Compared to hatha yoga, the asanas are held for less time, and the energy is focused on flowing from one posture to another and creating a dynamic movement.

VINYASA YOGA

The purpose of vinyasa is flow and internal cleansing. The combination of the asanas with movement and breathing makes the blood circulate around all the joints. Our mission is to offer the best experience to our guests. So, they can have their body and minds healthy and strong.

  • Involves significant muscular work that will improve the toning of a large part of the body’s muscles.
  • Allow you to burn a more significant number of calories.
  • Allows you to work on balance since we go from one asana to another in seconds.
  • It promotes blood circulation and is an ideal tool for improving the functioning of our cardiovascular system.
  • Allows us to improve flexibility, as happens with other types. The difference is that, in this case, the asanas will be performed with more energy, making the muscles and joints work much harder.
